About GTR MAFIA TOKYO
One driver, one company, one bloodline of car. This page is who is actually behind the WhatsApp number, why the fleet is GT-R and Skyline only, and where to see the cars before you book.

The short version
GTR MAFIA TOKYO is one person's obsession turned into a business. It is founded, run and driven by Seiya Tanaka (田中 聖矢), a Tokyo-based driver and street-car videographer, and operated through his registered company, HITE UP Inc. The fleet is Nissan GT-R and Skyline only — R32, R33, R34, R34 GT-R and R35 — because that is the car he cares about, not because a market survey said so.
When you message the WhatsApp number on this site, you are messaging Seiya. When you get in the car, he is usually the one driving. There is no call centre and no franchise.
Before it was a tour, it was a camera
Long before the tour existed, Seiya was filming Tokyo's street car scene — the Bayshore Route, Daikoku PA, the late-night rooftops and the cars that turn up there — and published it as a running series on TikTok. That account, @gtrmafiatokyo, now has 35,000 followers and well over 700,000 likes, and it is where most of the photographs on this site come from.
The tour grew out of the messages that series kept receiving: people about to visit Japan asking how they could get inside a GT-R, not just watch one. Renting one needs a licence most visitors do not have. Daikoku PA cannot be reached without a car. So Seiya started taking people along. GTR MAFIA TOKYO is that, formalised — a registered passenger service, insured cars, a fixed route and a fixed price.
Why GT-R and Skyline only
Most Tokyo car tours run a mixed fleet — a Supra, an RX-7, a Silvia, maybe a GT-R — and rotate whatever is available. That is a sensible business. It is not this one. The GTR MAFIA TOKYO fleet is five cars from a single bloodline, because the people who write to us are not asking for "a Japanese sports car"; they are asking for the car from Gran Turismo, from Fast & Furious, from the poster on the wall. Running only that car means the answer to "will I get a GT-R?" is never "maybe".
| Car | What it is | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Nissan Skyline R32 | The generation that earned the Godzilla name | Random |
| Nissan Skyline R33 | The underrated one that broke eight minutes at the Nürburgring | Random |
| Nissan Skyline R34 | The last Skyline before the name was retired | Random |
| Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 (BNR34) | The most wanted Japanese car in the world | Random · Premium |
| Nissan GT-R R35 | The supercar-killer, 2007 to today | Random · Premium |
Every car is road-legal, insured for passenger carriage, and driven at legal speeds on public roads. See the legal notice for the statutory business disclosure.
Who you are riding with
Seiya Tanaka — founder, driver, and the person answering your WhatsApp messages. Based in Shibuya. Speaks Japanese and English. Has filmed and driven Daikoku PA on more nights than most people ever visit it, which is why the tour knows which nights to go, where to park for the photo, and what to do when the police close the entrance.
When a group needs a second car, a second driver from the same small team takes it — someone who knows the route and the cars, not an agency hire.

What we will and will not do
We will answer fast, tell you honestly whether the tour is worth it for you, divert to Umihotaru PA when Daikoku is closed rather than cut the tour short, and shoot the cars only if you would rather not be photographed.
We will not race, exceed the speed limit, let guests drive, or promise a specific named car on the Random Plan. If another operator promises those things, ask them how.
Frequently asked questions
Who runs GTR MAFIA TOKYO?
GTR MAFIA TOKYO is founded and run by Seiya Tanaka, a Tokyo-based driver and street-car videographer, through his registered company HITE UP Inc. He is the person who answers the WhatsApp number and usually the person driving.
Is GTR MAFIA TOKYO a real registered business?
Yes. It is the trading name of HITE UP Inc. (株式会社HITE UP), a company registered in Japan and based in Shibuya, Tokyo. The statutory business disclosure required under Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions is published on the legal notice page.
Where can I see the GTR MAFIA TOKYO cars before booking?
On TikTok at @gtrmafiatokyo, which has 35,000 followers and is a continuous record of the same cars, roads and nights the tour uses. Most photographs on this website come from that account.
Why does GTR MAFIA TOKYO only have Nissan GT-R and Skyline cars?
Because the guests who book are asking for the GT-R specifically, not for any Japanese sports car. A single-bloodline fleet means the Premium Plan can guarantee a genuine GT-R and the Random Plan never puts a guest in a Supra or a Silvia.
Who drives on the tour?
Seiya Tanaka drives the lead car. When a group needs a second car, a second driver from the same small team drives it. Guests never drive.
Is GTR MAFIA TOKYO connected to Nissan?
No. GTR MAFIA TOKYO is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
